The Story Behind Our Inn
Considered Charlottesville’s first contemporary boutique hotel, Oakhurst Inn is composed of four Craftsman-era residences that date back to 1913. These buildings served as student and faculty housing until 2012 when the thoughtful 18-month renovation began. The renovations focused on preserving the unique architectural features of the residences while also incorporating modern design elements and the amenities today’s travelers have come to expect. The transformation of the property was completed in 2014 and Oakhurst Inn started to welcome guests.
